in performance with chimeralab dance during a mobius fundraiser called “surrealestate”

Strips of white paper were connected to upwardly-directed fans to present the illusion of fire. As this piece evolved, I discovered that the flame shapes were taking the form of a familiar tropical flower, which I eventually chose to use as the title of the piece.
