intersecting color field and striata effects on a solid white surface

This work is the result of an experiment in which two separately configured optical field reactions are evolving on the same uniform white surface. The separate fields can be identified visually by their formal characteristics: one is what I call a “color-field” reaction, and the other creating graphical striation effects. I like the way that the fields interact, appearing to join forces at times and even sharing the real estate equitably.
